What is the mission of the the Department of Export Agriculture?

Our mission is to support Sri Lankan farmers and agripreneurs in cultivation, processing, certification, and exporting of crops — to promote export agriculture for national prosperity.

Which crops are covered by your export agriculture program?

We support a variety of crops including arecanut, garcinia (goraka), betel, cocoa, coffee, ginger, and other allied export crops.

What services do you offer to exporters and farmers?

Services include technical / field support, training & capacity building, laboratory & certification assistance, guidance on value addition, and marketing support.

You can use our District Office Locator on the website, where each office address is listed (e.g. Kurunegala, Matale, Kandy, etc.).

Where is your head office located?
